Old and rare plate from the Amieux establishments. "Our motto is like our name: "Always A...better"". An advertising slogan, registered since the end of the 19th century which is the symbol of the industrial and commercial success which remained family until 1967. Then sold to a famous group. The Amieux brothers produced at the Annaray workshop which itself produced at Marius Bessone. It was in the 1920s that the creation of the advertising character of a cook became the emblem of the brand. Created by the Annaray workshop which produced at Bessone. Painted by the famous artist Marius Bessone, having a workshop - Vallauris with his wife Huguette. Bessone participated in almost all the Vallauris biennials as well as prestigious exhibitions throughout France and Europe. Vintage 50 / 60. Authentically vintage. D: 24 cm.
