Very beautiful and large collector's or serving plate in Quimper faience, authentic production from the HB factory. This classic model of Breton folk art features a profile of a Breton woman in traditional costume (white headdress, blue jacket, yellow apron, and red/pink skirt) hand-painted with care. The character holds a small red flower and is set on a green mound amidst stylised plant elements. The rim is richly adorned with a continuous frieze of green foliage and brightly coloured flowers (blue and red), all framed by two circular blue borders.
