Sloped desk marked in the Louis XV style

This charming sloped desk in Louis XV style features a rich decoration of floral marquetry and scroll motifs on all its sides. Its curved legs, ending in bronze sabots, add a great deal of elegance. The drop-down front reveals an interior fitted with several compartments and three small drawers, ideal for storing mail or documents. The marquetry is well preserved despite a few small losses and signs of wear that contribute to its authenticity. It is in advanced used condition, with several accidents and missing veneer to note.
