Superb antique writer's desk in solid walnut, dating from the late 19th century. With its monumental architecture and sculpted decor, this piece reflects the historicist taste that was very popular during this period, particularly for furniture inspired by the French and Italian Renaissance. The piece is distinguished by a particularly elegant and structured construction. The upper surface rests on an imposing belt richly sculpted, adorned with a continuous decoration of plant motifs and scrolls, featuring a central brass handle. Dimensions: Length: 90 cm.
