Mid-table, Napoleon III desk in solid wood from the 19th century. The legs are tapered and fluted (Louis XVI style). They are joined by an X-shaped stretcher topped in the centre with a carved finial. Carved torches and quivers adorn the belt. Wabi Sabi enthusiasts will be delighted! It has numerous imperfections. It has been (partially) repainted in black and gilded by the person who adopted this table before me. The structure is sound, the top is slightly warped.
