Art Deco bistro table

Art Deco bistro table in solid oak with trestle base and claw feet — France, circa 1930-1950. Rectangular table in solid oak with a top made of wide joined planks, resting on a double-column trestle base, connected at the bottom by a central cross brace. The feet end in curved claws richly adorned with a scattering of round-headed nails arranged in a staggered pattern — a decorative detail typical of brasserie and bistro furniture from the interwar period, both ornamental and functional (protection for the floor). The wood has a warm, golden patina, with the natural signs of use of solid oak (small shrinkage cracks, variations in grain, tool marks on the underside of the top indicating handcrafted production). *Stable / sturdy / In good condition with minimal signs of use.
