The Mayflower vase was produced in the 1960s at the Orrefors glassworks in Sweden. Designed by Jan Johansson. A unique collector’s item of Swedish design, created by Jan Johansson for the legendary Orrefors glassworks – a brand regarded as an icon of European art glass. The Mayflower model captivates with its sculptural silhouette and elegantly undulating rim, which lends the form a sense of lightness and architectural harmony. The transparent glass, combined with a subtle blue hue at the base, creates an effect of depth and refined chiaroscuro, characteristic of top-class Scandinavian products.
