Boulle marquetry secretary desk with weekly drawer

Boulle Marquetry Weekly Desk. A weekly desk, the upper section of which is crafted from Boulle marquetry. Red tortoiseshell and brass, with a serpentine front and sides, and a veined marble top. The drop-front reveals a shelf and three drawers. The top is covered in red morocco leather with gilt tooling. Gilt bronze mounts, corner mounts with scroll and floral motifs. Excellent overall condition.
