Cake stand and plates chic country Ceranord model Corbei

Superb set consisting of a cake stand and its 9 flat plates. Produced by the Ceranord factory, the "Corbeil" model will blend perfectly on a chic country-style table, in a charming home. Its lovely orange and black graphic patterns are full of charm. Cake stand: D 23.5 cm H 4.5 cm. Plates: D 23.5 cm H 2.5 cm. Condition: the set is in beautiful vintage condition, with some ingrained marks/stains on the edges of the crockery. 2 plates have more significant stains on the bottom. The patterns are still clearly visible and the colours are vibrant. The stamp on the back allows for precise dating of the manufacture: it was produced between 1908 and 1932. The mention "Nouvelles Usines Céramiques du Nord": This grouping and specific name of the pottery from Saint-Amand-les-Eaux was created in 1908. The swan logo: This emblem of a swan surrounded by circular inscriptions corresponds exactly to the trademark used by the factory during the interwar period. In 1932, the factory changed its name again to become the Société des Grands Établissements Céramiques Saint-Amand, thus altering its stamp.
