Set of 6 dessert plates in Limoges porcelain, André François (A.F.) manufacture - La Seynie, Art Deco period 1925-1935. Description: • Mark on the back: LIMOGES A.F. FRANCE (stamp) • Art Deco geometric floral decoration: stylised royal blue and powder pink flowers, highlighted with yellow, with a scale frieze and a golden border • Diameter: ∼19cm • Material: Fine Limoges porcelain • Model: Dessert / cake / cheese plates. This is a highly sought-after, colourful, and cheerful decoration, typical of André François's work, much rarer than classic services. Condition: • 5 plates in very good condition: no cracks, no chips. Normal micro-wear of the gilding on the edge due to age, visible under magnification. Shiny glaze. • 1 plate with a defect: 2 small chips on the edge side of the glaze, no cracks. Perfectly usable as a serving plate or to complete a display. I will leave it in the set. SOLD AS A SET OF 6, I do not separate the 5 good ones. Price for the set of 6 (5 perfect + 1 with noted defect).
