Oil painting on canvas, probably by an Italian artist of the Baroque period. The work depicts a religious scene, the Assumption of the Virgin, with human figures arranged on several planes, from the foreground to celestial silhouettes. The painting appears well preserved, despite some signs of age. It is framed in a gilt frame which accentuates its antique appearance.
