Large blue Bavent Art Deco vase

Large blue Art Deco Bavent vase. Beautiful interior and exterior glaze in various shades of blue, created using a very fine salt-chip technique that gives the color a lovely depth. Dating from the 1930s, it comes from the "Tuilerie Normande" ceramic workshops in Bavent (bombed during D-Day, it is still in operation, but the pre-war molds have been lost). Dimensions: height 37 cm, diameter 18 cm.
