Large Chinese carved camphor wood chest from the 20s/30s

Antique Chinese luggage trunk in carved camphor wood. Beautiful hand-carved woodwork from the early 20th century. It is in good condition, very clean inside (you can put linen there for example or your most beautiful souvenirs). It has a brass closure on which you can add a padlock if necessary. Some small classic signs of use without consequence, the trunk is stable and robust, without any particular defect. This antique Chinese trunk in carved hardwood represents figures and scenes in relief. The sculptures represent junks, the sea, the mountain and flowers. The base is in the art deco style. It is a superb interior piece that you can use at the end of a bed, as a coffee table or a side table. It is a beautiful antique and collector's item.
