Chinese carved chest made of solid wood — life scenes in bas-relief

Large solid wood chest entirely hand-carved. Relief decoration on all sides: scenes of Asian life with characters in traditional attire, pavilions, stylised vegetation — meticulous work characteristic of Chinese or Indochinese craftsmanship from the 1950s/70s. Brass fittings and handles, reinforced internal structure, side compartment. Supplied with its original keys. Signs of use on the back.
