Earthenware vase from the baca series, one of the last series designed by nils thorsson (1898-1975) for aluminia and royal copenhagen. The word baca means "ring", which explains why the signature of each artist who created a decor, appears in a circle on the back of each piece in the series. Thus the decoration composed of stylized plants and birds of this vase, dated between 1969 and 1974, is due to nils thorsson.
