Elegant Art Nouveau two-tiered tea table in veneered wood, signed Émile Gallé. This rare piece, ideal for collectors, is distinguished by its two trays adorned with a delicate decoration of gladioli. The wood used appears to be blond walnut, appreciated for its warm color and fine texture. The table is carved and inlaid with different wood species, offering a visual richness and depth of color. Dimensions: width 74 cm, depth 38.5 cm, height 76.5 cm. A regluing is noted at the spacer of the lower tray. Art Nouveau, an artistic movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, is characterized by curved lines and motifs inspired by nature. Émile Gallé, master of this movement, was recognized for his work in glass and wood. This tea table is an excellent example of his legacy and mastery of marquetry.
