Empire console from Egypt, 19th century. Rectangular in shape with mahogany veneer, opening with a drawer in the apron. The front supports are adorned with gilded wooden swans ending in claws. Mirror at the back of the piece. Restoration, re-gluing, damage to one swan's wing (see photos). Some veneer losses. Top in sea green marble.
