This vintage mid-century teak table was most likely designed by renowned designer William Watting and made by Fristho in Holland in the 1950s. The table diameter is 115 cm, and when fully unfolded, it is 197 cm long. With one inner leaf is 156 cm long. The table height is 72 cm. The unique-shaped tabletop is crafted from teak, showcasing beautifully patterned veneer that highlights the natural beauty of the material. An interesting feature is the oak legs, which contrast in color with the darker tabletop. The extended table creates a comfortable space for even 8 people. Veneer on extensions is a bit lighter, as it is often with such hidden parts. The most interesting feature of this table is the extension mechanism. One can easily open one inner leaf or two of them. They hide in the table, and the opening mechanism is very easy to operate. The surface has been refinished with new lacquer, and it is in great condition. The extension mechanism has been checked and works properly. This piece remains in excellent vintage condition with minor signs of use and a couple of touch-ups on the base.
