Ombra armchair by Charlotte Perriand for Cassina in Erome fabric.

Description of the Cassina website: Charlotte Perriand designed Ombra in 1953, taking up the formal structure of the chair of the same name, designed with curved wooden boards, and with the same balance between gesture, shape and technique. The rigorous geometries of the seat and backrest allow several elements to be positioned side by side in order to obtain a straight and continuous seat, ideal for adapting to any style of modern furniture. The purchase dates from 2004, from a design boutique in Italy (Milan) whose name I do not remember. Serial numbers 00111 and 00123. They were in our living room but we rarely sat in them. The frame is made of flat steel, the padding of the cushions in polyurethane foam with differentiated density.
