Mid-century modern "market square" swedish vintage figurative oil painting by brita hansson, framed

A richly coloured mid century modernist figure scene, painted in oil onto paper laid on board, by the established female swedish artist brita hansson (1918-1979). In this striking composition, three figures are seated in a centre of a town square. The artist has used bold outlines to highlight the forms of the figures and their surroundings. Expressive brushstrokes fill the surface, and the use of contrasting vivid colours help to demonstrate depth and space to the painting. This oil painting is housed in a gilt frame with black mount board. There are some minor scuffs to the frame, but overall the painting and frame are both in excellent vintage condition.
