Scandinavian design dining table from the 60s/70s in rosewood resting on four legs and integrating two extensions of 45 cm each increasing the length of the table from 150 to 240 cm and saving space during your meals or dinner with friends or family. The structure of the table is robust and stable and also has the advantage of having only its legs without any other reinforcement. In very good used condition with some traces of wear over time. The photos serve as a description! A little history: rosewoods are very dense, very hard and resistant to humidity and vermin, and can have different colors. Their great mechanical, acoustic and aesthetic qualities have made them highly sought-after woods since the 18th century, particularly for making high-end furniture and musical instruments. Use: Rosewood being very expensive, it was mainly used as a veneer for furniture since the 17th century in Western Europe (although solid wood furniture is found, particularly in English furniture). The finish is most often varnished (with a buffer), which highlights the contrasts of the grain of these dark woods.
