This elegant extendable dining table is a distinguished component of the "Syrius" living room suite, produced by the Bytomskie Furniture Factories (Bytomskie Fabryki Mebli) in Poland during the 1960s. It serves as a quintessential example of Mid-Century Modern design, characterized by its clean lines and functional elegance. The walnut veneer on the tabletop has been carefully refinished to enhance and protect the striking, high-contrast grain patterns and the naturally warm hue of the wood. The tabletop is supported by a set of slender, tapered legs crafted from solid beech wood, providing both structural stability and a lightweight aesthetic. Designed with versatility in mind, the table features an extension that allows it to comfortably accommodate between four and six guests. The table has undergone a professional restoration process. The length of the top is 124 cm + 50 cm (extension).
