Duo of Henriot Quimper plates

A pair of antique Henriot Quimper faience plates with painted decoration depicting two Breton characters in central medallions: a Breton woman carrying a basket and a character with a glass. The scenes are surrounded by a radiant geometric decoration composed of orange starry friezes, deep blue and garnet red accents, creating a very lively graphic ensemble. A bold palette characteristic of Quimper productions from the early 20th century. The two decorations complement each other without being identical. Stamped Henriot Quimper 81. In good vintage condition, with slight signs of wear, small chips on the edges (see photos). Diameter 20.5 cm. A warm graphic presence where the radiant motifs and Breton characters create an ancient, colourful, and vibrant atmosphere.
