Henriot Quimper ceramic table mat

This beautiful object is a faience from Quimper produced by the famous HB-Henriot factory. Its trilobate or scalloped shape is typical of regional table service pieces. It features the traditional decoration depicting a Breton character in the centre (here a man in traditional costume with his hat), surrounded by a hand-painted polychrome geometric frieze in shades of blue, yellow, ochre, and burgundy. In good condition. Charming at the centre of a table!.
