Mediterranean Tripod Side Chairs by Audoux Minet, France, 1950s, Set of 2

Vintage mid-century French Mediterranean design tripod side chair set by Adrien Audoux & Frida Minet. Produced in the South of France during the 1950s, this set of two chairs features bases crafted from oak wine barrel wood parts and seats and backrests made of hand-woven abaca straw. The handmade nature is evident, with one chair being slightly taller and wider than the other. The shorter back chair measures 77 cm X 45 cm X 48 cm with a seat height of 45 cm, while the taller back chair measures 85 cm X 35 cm X 46 cm with a seat height of 47 cm. Both pieces remain in good condition, showing light wear and patina consistent with age and use. Sold as a set of two chairs.
