Doria lamp base 69 cm in very good condition from the 1960s/70s with a differential switch.

Superb large floor lamp, or standard lamp, in tinted orange glass and satin stainless steel. Doria Leuchten brand, Germany, circa 1960/1970, known for its original and quality lighting. Internal lighting provided by 2 E14 bulbs, small screw base + top lighting with E27 bulb. The original foot switch allows for 3 lighting positions: all 3 bulbs simultaneously, the top one alone, or just the 2 internal bulbs, to illuminate only the base... and create a beautiful ambient light. The base unscrews easily to allow for changing the internal bulbs. This base still bears part of a worn ink label on the reverse, but its rectangular and scalloped shape, characteristic of the Doria brand, leaves no doubt. Item in excellent condition, minimal marks on the stainless steel. Sold without lampshade. Total height = 69 cm. Height to the socket ring = 67 cm.
