Industrial Pendant Lamp Luzette by Peter Behrens, Siemens Schuckert, Germany, 1910

This decorative pendant lamp from the 1910s to 1920s was designed by Peter Behrens for Siemens & Schuckert in Germany. The distinctive shade features a drop shape, made from two different types of glass. The lower section is made of white opaline glass, while the upper part is made of frosted engraved glass. This thoughtful design allows for more light to be directed upwards while reducing glare downwards. The fixture is made of metal with a copper finish. The light fitting is in very good original condition with a beautiful patina on the metal and undamaged glass. It houses a unique light source, and the two-tone shade creates a soft and pleasant illumination. Additional rewiring to meet electrical standards is available upon request.
