Pair of postmodern Memphis Milano style side tables, 1980s

These two side tables or night stands with drawers are truly unique, made by a Dutch artist in the 1980s (unfortunately the name got lost by the original owners). They are - although quite different in execution - a perfect pair. Postmodern and with a very big playful nod to Memphis Milano (Group Memphis). The drawers even have little artworks on the sides, the colours and different paint and lacquers are spot on. Even the feet are super fun and well balanced in design. Find of the year!.
