Athens-style mahogany pedestal table, mahogany veneer and marble, Empire style, early 20th century. The pedestal features a circular belt in mahogany veneer. A dark grey marble, The whole is supported by three solid mahogany columns adorned with bronze rings at the upper and lower parts. A concave helicoidal base also in mahogany veneer. This elegant small piece of furniture, very easy to place, has been cleaned, sanded, treated, and waxed. There are a few minor defects, particularly on the veneer of the upper circular part (see photos). A chip under the marble is invisible when the pedestal is placed (last photo). Height: 109 cm. Diameter of the marble: 32 cm. In good condition and with great stability.
