The inner face has been carefully cut and polished, revealing a mineral composition with shades of grey, brown, black, beige, and blue of the agate, featuring concentric/variegated areas and a certain translucency. The outer faces are raw and retain the original, irregular appearance of the stone. Their significant weight ensures excellent stability and allows them to hold large format books or thick volumes.
