Vintage bookends in agate and marble | Pair of polished stone desk accessories

A superb pair of bookends made of polished stone discs in rich tones of agate and marble: one side features warm cream and ochre veining, while the other showcases deep burgundy and grey mineral patterns. Each disc rests on a matching rectangular base of brown-grey marble. A stunning decorative element in natural stone for a library, desk, or shelf, with each side revealing unique mineral veining, as no two stones are identical. In good vintage condition. Please examine the close-up photos carefully: a small chip is visible on the upper edge of one disc (visible in the top photo). No cracks affect the base or the stability of the structure.
