Handcrafted ceramic candy box, decorated with a Provence landscape.

Let the charm and light of the South enter your home with this lovely ceramic candy dish, a beautiful handcrafted French production from the 1970s/1980s. Entirely shaped and decorated by hand, it stands out with its domed lid adorned with a hand-painted Provençal landscape. The naive art scene highlights a traditional farmhouse with yellow walls and a tiled roof, sheltered under a majestic umbrella pine. The rim of the box and the lid feature a superb textured effect resembling bark or brushed earth in brown tones, which wonderfully emphasizes the brilliance and freshness of the milky central glaze. Signed on the decoration by the painter and bearing the official handwritten mark "Art Ceramic — Handmade" under the lid. In very good condition. The glaze retains all its brilliance. No cracks or chips (see photos).
