Very rare, old statuette in white monochrome plaster (beige) "notre dame d'arliquet" on brown base, representing the crowned virgin seated holding on these knees the body of christ lying (pieta). 25cm high by about 17cm wide and 9cm deep. Satisfactory overall condition, as it is old it obviously presents many marks of wear of the time gift including the cross of the crown of the virgin which is broken and a splinter on one side of the base, the face of christ is practically erased and overall the plaster is patinated and the details smoothed... A bubble of the original burst plaster on a thigh of christ. Scratches and stains... About 900gr/1kg.
