Beautiful ancient terracotta statue representing the crowned Virgin holding the Child Jesus in her arms. Finely sculpted work, with beautiful details in the faces and drapery. Polychromy in golden and ochre tones, showing a natural patina and signs of wear that enhance its authenticity. Signature at the base: NB Déposé. Good overall condition considering its age, with visible wear to the gilding and polychromy (see photos).
