Renovated Art Deco Parisian wardrobe in khaki with original mirror.

Charming Art Deco bonnetière, fully renovated in my workshop. Its tall and relatively shallow silhouette (45 cm with handles) allows for ample storage capacity without taking up too much space. It can find its place in a bedroom, hallway, bathroom, or even a kitchen. The exterior has been carefully prepared and painted in Herbarium Green by Libéron, a deep botanical shade that particularly highlights its lines and lovely Art Deco carved decoration. The interior has been completely sanded and left in natural wood. Old shelves have been added and are fixed. The Art Deco hardware is original. An old but new stock lock has been installed. To facilitate opening and closing, it is advisable to slightly lift the door using the key. The large mirror is original. It shows the natural marks of its age, including some stains and alterations to the silvering visible in the photos, which attest to its authenticity. The lower drawer slides easily. Its interior is lined with a lovely khaki and pink gingham fabric, a small unexpected detail that adds a decorative touch upon opening. The wardrobe is sound, stable, and solid. It has undergone some old repairs during its life, including the addition of a foot at the back, visible in the photos. There are also a few rare old woodworm holes in the drawer. Like all antique furniture, it retains irregularities and traces of its history despite its renovation. These are part of its charm and authenticity.
