Magnificent ancient china baluster vase, jade and gold ornaments, song. Object purchased from a colleague who bought it himself as part of an estate sale from a former collector of asian art. Note that there are gaps in these embedded ornaments on this relatively heavy vase. (see photos 5, 6 and 9). Note that the inscriptions on the bottom of the vase were made by its former owner to assess the period of this object and its material.
