Pair of hand-painted ceramic vases in Dutch Art Nouveau Gouda PZH, 'Violetta', 1899

A rare pair of Dutch Art Nouveau vases from 1899 by PZH Gouda, delicately hand-painted in the sought-after "Violetta" design. Made from fine and refined earthenware typical of PZH's early productions, decorated with floral and abstract motifs hand-painted in soft tones of lavender, gold, cream, and green on a warm white background. The slender baluster shape and flared rim highlight the characteristic elegance of Dutch decorative ceramics from the late 19th century. The vases are in remarkable condition with no chips, cracks, or visible damage.
