Vintage West German Ceramic Candle Holder / Vase – Ivory Relief – 1970s

Elegant vintage ceramic candle holder dating from the late 1960s or early 1970s. Made in West Germany and finished in a beautiful glossy ivory-white glaze, it features delicate relief decoration with stylised starbursts, dotted bands and vertical fluting inspired by the modernist ceramic design of the era. The sculptural form allows it to be used as a candle holder for a pillar candle or simply as a decorative object. Its understated colour palette makes it easy to combine with both contemporary and vintage interiors. The base bears an impressed spiral "G" maker's mark. Presented in excellent vintage condition with only light age-related wear. Dimensions. Height: 22 cm. Diameter: 10 cm.
