Pair of Space-Age wall sconces - 1960s

Very beautiful pair of vintage wall sconces with a graphic and sculptural design, characteristic of the Space Age aesthetic of the 1960s. They consist of a black metal structure with geometric and clean lines, paired with beautiful frosted opal glass globes. The soft roundness of the globes contrasts with the black structure, giving the whole piece a silhouette that is both understated, graphic, and very decorative. The frosted opal glass allows for a soft and warm diffusion of light, while the design of the sconces fully evokes the modernist and futuristic aesthetic of 1960s design. A particularly elegant pair that can fit into both a vintage interior and contemporary decor. Era: 1960s. Style: Space Age / modernist. Materials: black metal and frosted opal glass. Operation and installation: one E27 bulb for each sconce (not included). Dimensions: 26cm wide, 32cm high (base), the globe has a diameter of 25cm.
