Deer Art Deco in St Clément Faience

This sculpture represents a stylised doe, a piece in faience from the French manufacture St Clément by Charles Lemanceau. Its design is characteristic of the Art Deco period, with clean lines and a geometric shape. Made of ceramic and covered in a bright, glossy red glaze, this piece combines a decorative and practical function with its small integrated pot, which can serve as a catch-all or a plant pot. The silhouette of the animal and the intense colour make it a decorative object that fits perfectly into a classic or contemporary interior. In perfect condition.
