Deer jardinière in porcelain or small vase with an elegant and majestic deer. Made in Italy, it is hand-painted. The deer has a light beige colour and a pleasant innocent expression. Its exact age is unknown, but its painting style, colour palette, and sculpting style suggest it may have been made in the 1950s or even the 1940s. Free from cracks or chips, the paint has somewhat worn away on its nose. One ear has a white tip, but it is smooth with glaze - an area of missed paint, not a chip.
