Brutalist floor candle holder in hammered gold steel, Belgium circa 1970.

Very beautiful and rare floor candlestick (which can be converted into a lamp) from around 1970. A typical model of brutalist design produced in Belgium at that time. Made entirely of hammered and gilded steel with four palm-shaped feet (base measuring 39 cm on each side, width of the palms 9 cm) supporting a square-section shaft (2.5 cm on each side) and the candle holder (dish measuring 14 cm on each side). Total height of 125 cm. In superb used condition, with just a few signs of wear on the gilding that do not affect its aesthetic, this very beautiful candlestick will bring a raw and refined style to your decor. It will have a stunning effect in a design interior. Not to be missed!!!
