Church candle holder in silver-plated metal, transformed into a lamp base. The tripod base, with lion claw feet and scrolls, features a repoussé decoration of scrolls and flowers; the baluster shaft with fluting supports a large moulded binet. A fake wax candle crowns the whole and conceals the socket. Height 73 cm with a base of 19 cm. The silver plating is worn on the protruding parts, revealing the metal, with oxidised areas that enhance the relief. 19th-century liturgical furniture repurposed as a lamp, suitable for placing at the foot of a piece of furniture or on a console.
