Mid-Century Modern Scandinavian Buffet in Dark Oak with Wooden and Metal Handles, 1960s

This modernist sideboard was made in Scandinavia in the 1960s. It is made of oak wood, considered to be royal wood. It is a very strong and durable material with a rich grain. The wood resists scratches and damage and becomes more refined with age. This sideboard is finished in a dark and varied colour. From brownish tones to deep dark brown, which, depending on the angle of light, can give an impression of black. The strong and structured grain flows harmoniously here. This creates a stunning visual effect. The front features a pair of sliding doors. There is a shelf and an empty space inside. The geometric handles are made of wood complemented by a metal ball. The elegant wooden legs fit perfectly with the sideboard.
