This piece of furniture is a design by Ejner Larsen and Aksel Bender Madsen, manufactured by Næstved Møbelfabrik in Denmark. It dates from the mid-20th century and is distinguished by its long, low shape. The teak features a lively vertical grain. The warm hue of the teak brings a pleasant atmosphere to the room. The four sliding doors are particularly well executed. They open inward, and the teak veneer extends across the entire facade, making it difficult to recognise the sliding doors at first glance. The piece gives the impression of being a single unit and showcases its excellent craftsmanship. The dark wooden handles add a subtle touch to the simple, linear facade. Behind the doors are adjustable shelves, and in one compartment, there are three drawers with visible dovetail joints and round handles. The top offers space for a lamp, a vase, or plants, and the piece can also be used as a TV stand. It is supported by round teak legs with small pads. This gives the piece a light impression and allows the floor beneath to be seen. The furniture is in very good condition, having been refurbished, with minor signs of wear due to age on the surfaces.
