Mahogany display cabinet, Louis XVI style – 1930

Refinement and balance characterise this three-sided display cabinet, made of mahogany and enhanced by a marquetry of check patterns at the lower part. It opens with a central door adorned with a finely chiseled bronze entry, accompanied by its crafted key and a perfectly functional lock. The top features a moulded shelf, while the fluted columns are punctuated with hammered fittings forming crosses. They rest on tapered feet finished with brass sabot. The interior, lined with delicate pink fabric, houses three glass shelves, ideal for showcasing art objects, porcelain, or precious collections. A display piece that is both decorative and functional, combining classic elegance with craftsmanship. Period: 1930. Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop.
