Amazing vintage desk lamp designed by Jean-Boris Lacroix and produced by Caillat around 1950, recognisable by its wide black metal shade shaped like a saucer. Its long black stem rests on a circular base highlighted with brass. Under the shade, a cylindrical opaline glass diffuser contrasts with the black metal. The paint shows some chips and signs of use that testify to its history. A piece with a very graphic design, typical of 1950s design.
