Vintage mushroom table lamp, cherry wood and frosted glass.

A vintage mushroom table lamp with a wide gently curved shade made of frosted glass, topped with a cap and a polished chrome ball knob. The shade rests on a tapered column made of warm cherry-stained wood, set on a round wooden base with a brushed metal ring. When lit, the frosted glass emits a soft, warm glow. A clean postmodern shape from the 1980s-1990s that fits well on a desk, sideboard, or bedside table. In good vintage condition with visible signs of age and use. The wood has small chips and scratches where the finish has worn off, on the column as well as on the top and edge of the base. The edge of the glass shade has a few small dark marks and scratches. The frosted glass itself shows no visible chips or cracks in the photos. The lamp was working at the time of the photo. height: 48.5 cm diameter: 38 cm
