The desk was designed by Danish designer Sten Blomberg and manufactured in the 1960s at the Swedish manufacturer Seffle Möbelfabrik. Featuring a modernist form, this desk exemplifies the Scandinavian design school of the mid-20th century. Its contoured handles and brass leg fittings lend it a unique character. This functional piece of furniture features two drawer modules: a deep file drawer on the left, and two drawers on the right. Both modules feature small, extendable tops with black glass, which has been replaced with new glass. The desk has undergone a thorough renovation, removing the old coating, painting it with walnut stain, and finishing it with a strong semi-matte varnish. The brass elements have been cleaned and polished.
