Mid-20th century Danish sewing table/side table in teak, Haslev Hansen

Danish sewing table / Side table – Attributed to Erik Riisager Hansen – Haslev – 1960s. We offer an exceptional Danish sewing table from the 1960s. This table captivates with its elegance and lightness, featuring delicately tapered legs and a beautiful teak top with visible grain. A large sliding wicker basket, hidden beneath the top, is a particularly original detail. Providing generous storage space, this basket makes the table both decorative and functional. Another attractive detail is the darkened ends of the legs, which subtly contrast with the teak. Originally designed as a sewing table, this piece is now ideal as a side table or as a decorative element in any interior. Due to its design and craftsmanship, this piece is attributed to Erik Riisager Hansen for Haslev Møbelsnedkeri. However, there are no manufacturer or designer marks on the piece, which is why the attribution is explicitly mentioned as such. Dimensions: Height: 53 cm. Width: 59 cm. Depth: 43 cm.
